Memory Speed

Ok, I think this is a simple one.
I'm going to get a new memory stick for my PC and I was wondering if it would be a problem to have a 133mhz stick on a 100mhz motherboard. I can't find 100mhz sticks and I'm not sure if my motherboard works at 133mhz...

Any suggestions??

Thanks,

From Patagonia...

Marito

you will need to be sure the 133 stick is backward compatible to 100. ask the vendor.

I understand that using a 133 stick in a 100 slot won't work with a lot of newer 133 sticks. Check your motherboard manufacturer's web site and see if you can get specs on what's compatible with your mobo.
