Memory Speed
Ok, I think this is a simple one.
I'm going to get a new memory stick for my PC and I was wondering if it would be a problem to have a 133mhz stick on a 100mhz motherboard. I can't find 100mhz sticks and I'm not sure if my motherboard works at 133mhz... Any suggestions?? Thanks, From Patagonia... Marito |

you will need to be sure the 133 stick is backward compatible to 100. ask the vendor.

I understand that using a 133 stick in a 100 slot won't work with a lot of newer 133 sticks. Check your motherboard manufacturer's web site and see if you can get specs on what's compatible with your mobo.
