Minimum Specs for Gigabit Ethernet Server
Hi,
I've read that you need a fairly high-spec machine to install a Gigabit ethernet NIC on- due to the increased number of interrupts you get from the NIC. Does anyone know of a minimum spec for machines with gigabit ethernet NICs? (Budget is an issue). Or in your experience, will most entry level boxes handle the task? Thanks for any advice.
