Question modem sickness?

i got a problem with my modem, it's a aopen 56k one, and when i disconnect from the net, it does disconnect but my phoneline hangs up... got any ideas how come this is happening?

Not sure what you mean. You disconnect from the net and your phone line hangs up? That's what is supposed to happen...

hello karsh, this is the problem... when i cut my connection from the net, my phone line still hangs up... so it can't be used... the only way for it to be available for use is to pull out the line from my modem... the modem is supposed to cut the connection when you disconnect from the net right? so how come this is happening... thanks for your concern =)
