monitor not switching on after upgrade

I recently upgraded:

Motherboard:abit kv7 to a Abit KV7 (gave old one to friend)

CPU:athlon 2500 to a athlon xp 3000 barton core

RAM:512 ddr pc2700 x 1 to 512 ddr pc2700 x 3
(other specs - radeon 9200
DVD and DVD-RW)

after this the pc kept resetting i made sure everything was seated correctly and the power supply was ok.
Then it started to power up but did not take the monitor out of hibernation.
I need help please

That usually means your video card isn't telling your monitor to wake up. Make sure your video card is fully seated. Take it out and put it back in. Make sure it "clicks" and your monitor cable is attached properly.
