Unhappy My CD-Rewriter dosent read any cd's!!!!
hi guyz........
i found this site today and was relieved to find it as i have been searchin the net for the past one week on how 2 get my cd-writer back 2 work!

so this is my problem guyz........

I gotta BENQ 32X10X40 Seamless Link CD-Rewriter,it was workin fine until i came back from vacation and checked it out and it was'nt reading even a single type of cd.then i tried cleaning it with a cd-lens cleaner,it works once or twice after that.and one when i restart my computer,it doesent work again!

PLZ HELP ME GUYZ!!!!!!!!!!!!

you say it's not reading cd's - how about writing? (I suspect not). Also , you cleaned the device a couple times and it worked, but then started to fail again - sounds to me like a faulty laser assembly. How old is the product? Is it still under warrenty?
