My cpu won't power on

Hi alll.....I got cpu with p4 processor..the problem is my cpu won't power...Then fan on the processor will run just for few second then its stop by It self

karsh44 is right, we need more info.

You could also try starting your system up with the bare minimum of devices (1 hard drive, no sound/network card, nothing that is not absolutly necessary to boot). It's possible you have to many components for your power supply to handle.
