Unhappy My monitor says "no signal"

My monitor was working fine last night. I left the computer "on" and went to bed. This morning I tried to use the computer but the monitor didn't respond. I tried resetting my pc a few times but I kept getting a "checking signal".

What could be the possible problems? Need help!!!!!!!!

Did you try shutting the monitor on and off? Turn your computer completely off, turn the monitor switch off. Turn on the computer, then turn on the monitor. If that doesn't work the check the connections.

Check the connection from the monitor to the video card. If that's bad, it usually triggers that message.

WELL I AM HAVING SAME PROBLEM AND ITS SUCKS MATE

computer moved around a lil in a moving situation and the msg comes up. my built up pc is > p4 2.6ghz.. 512ddr ram..
tested sound card by putting cd in cd rom playing out card that sweet plays fine just no signal in monitor. <<No beeps at start just no monitor> i think its just the mother board is playing tricks on me. tryed different agp.. pci cards no help
I think its the mother board. Looked all through the net and all i get is Mother Board. That is wat i think our probem is after testing different things. Just dont want to buy another board if its not the problem. Tested all the stuff i put in and they all wrk on other computers just that board doesnt like sending the right signal. Some one in a differnet thread told someone else to reset cmos.. <take batt out for about 2-10mins> (then put back in) << u can try that i dont think that will wrk though. Well i rekon its our boards but someone out there proove me wrong please!!
