My USB drive blew my power supply?
Hey guys,
So, I was hacking some Perl today on my Linux box and someone caught my attention else where. Well, I had a key in my hand and without knowing what I was doing, I stuck they key in the USB drive. Right away my computer shut off, all lights gone, and I was just left there...cussing. Now, I'm not a hardware expert, but did static shock cause it? Is there anything I can do to recover the power supply or do I have to go through the trouble (by trouble, I mean stop being lazy) of installing a new one? Any ideas? I am just assuming power supply because the light to it is off even when plugged in.

Well, you can easily test the power supply with a paper clip and a case fan... Try this link. I've used this quite a few times, and have found some working PSU's that ppl assumed were bad...
