I am making a budget system with bought parts and parts I already have. It may encounter a few games being played on it.
The motherboard is agp 4x. Is a agp 8x card backward compatible? Heres the parts list: www.celliott.ath.cx/idea.htm If they are backward compatible, whats better. The wintek card in my list, or this:http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/prod...oduct_uid=55275 Many Thanks.

Usually the card would be something like 8x/4x, which would work. You should probably email the vendor to be sure. Between the two you have, they should be almost identical, and will be adequate for non-graphics intensive games.
