Need network help asap

I'm on a pentium3, 550 mhz, 384 ram

I'm hooked up to a Linksys router via Blitzz Wireless USB Network Card. For some reason, it just slowed down out of nowhere, and the problem isn't very clear. It slowed down from about 200kb/s to ~20kb/s. Here's a pic of a graph I took while downloading:

It seems it's getting interrupted somehow.

My upload rate is about the same as it was before the problems (~15kb/s), but it also experiences interruptions.

Also, the router was fully reset, but the problem persists.

What could the problem be? Another computer on the same router works just fine.

pentium3, 550 mhz would be USB 1.1 (likely 1.1) what is the other machine?

Possibly other machine USB2 and issue is driver/usb version. Or maybe driver has limit on bandwidth on older USB (some early USB crappy).

Possibly a USB power issue, can see power draw, etc. from device manager. Also MS articles on USB bandwidth.

MS has articles on TSing USB such as
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/242062/EN-US/

You may also need to install chipset drivers for your version of windows to operate with USB properly. Such as the Via usb driver for Via chipsets.

Could also investigate possibility of an IRQ Sharing issue. See what IRQ USB is using and if shared with another (especially bad if sharing with a storage controller like SCSI, etc).

Send a message via ICQ to computer
also, the device manager doesn't always show too good usage graphs for networking IMHO. Can you give us details on the other machine? I assume your using some sort of internet connection sharing on windows and the other machine is the host directly connected to the internet. Are downloads slow on the other computer too?
