new pc trouble :( no POST or anything

i recently just brought myself a new mobo (ga-7n400l)/ram(generic 512mb 3200) to go with my athlon 2400xp (thourghbred i think) throw the lot togeter and i get nothing.
no display, no beeps but everything gets power. I've removed all hdds/cdroms/floppy and i even replaced the video card but still nothing, all the clock settings on the motherboard are set to auto as i have no idea what they would need to be set at.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
The only thing that i've encounterd like this was when i set the fsb on my old motherboard to 133 (with the same athlon 2400) and it did the same, however setting it back to 100 worked perfectly.
I apoligize if this has been asked before but i wasnt too successfull with my search

read the manual a few times and set the fsb to 100mhz and still didnt work, tried the ram in each of the slots and got nothing and am now going to try some working ram in it.
also after searching some more i found that this happens to a few people with this type of motherboard

Once reconstruct it into minimum with floppy. Try CMOS clear.
