Hi,
I was trying to build my own PC for the first time and I'm looking for some advice. I will likely be buying from newegg.com- and I can't figure out what to buy.
My system will be used primarily for data storage, but I definately want expandability.
I need to get all the guts as well as a case and power supply.
I am looking for a simple system, but I am a quick learner and want something that I can soup up later.
I will be using sound editing and video editing occasionally but I'm not quite looking for gamer quality (from what i've read, a lot of systems are judged by gaming ability and I don't game on PC at all)
I would appreciate any advice, and I believe my AIM screen name is on my profile so I don't mind help at any time.
I prefer an Intel based system but I can be persuded otherwise.
Once again thanks,
Ozzie
P.S. I would like to be able to rip DVD's and keep it under 1000-----software recomendations would also be greatly appreciated.
