"No Boot Devices Found System Halted" Help!?
A few times a month when I turn on my computer it takes a little longer for my computer to boot up, it makes a few weird beeps. and then all of the sudden a completely black screen comes up that says "No Boot Devices Found System Halted". Then nothing else happens. It's a older Dell Dimension desktop. Any help on how I can fix this problem would be appreciated. Thanks.

What bios do you have, and what is the pattern of the beeps? (long-short-short, short-long, etc) If you immediately restart the system, does it work then?

Everytime I had that problem, the hard drive soon broke. Make sure you're backed up, then troubleshoot.
