No post, no beeps
Hi, I just changed my Motherboard and CPU in my computer and now it won't boot. I have tried to interchange both motherboards and cpus, with much aggrivation, and the new ones just won't work on my or my friends systems. I have tried all kinds of settings with 2 different monitors, both which work fine, and I just get "no signal" coming up. But before I start sending these things back to the manufacters I wanted to get some input on what you thought. This is my setup...
AMD XP 1800+
Asus A7V266-E
Corsair PC2100 256x2
Gainward Geforce FX5200 256mb
Wester Digital 80gb 8mb
The new parts I bought were an Asus A7N8X-X motherboard and an AMD XP 2500+ CPU...
I tried to reset the CMOS, checked all my wiring, and interchanged many of the parts from 3 different computers...any ideas or input would be great, thank you in advanced if you can help.
