Unhappy No Signal To Monitor

Well everyone.. how things.. well i will get to my problem and hopefully someone out there can help me.

I have a built a 2.6ghz penitum 4 computer with 512ddr. I was reading threads everywhere and seem to be getting no help witht the situation

What happened is i moved the computer around to a mates house and of course well it moved around a lil.

What happens when i turn the computer on is i get a no signal message to the monitor. It sucks
The computer has no beaps at start.. there is never n e picture on the monitor just a no signal message.. ALL THE DRIVES AND CD ROM AND SOUND CARD ARE ALL WRKING I KNOW THIS BUT DONT KNOW ABOUT THE KEYBOARD AND MOUSE. I THINK ITS THE DADDY BOARD BUT PLEASE PROOVE ME WRONG!!!!

i tried putting in a pci card.. reseting cmos.... differnet monitors..
i dont know if this helps but i even put a cd in the cd rom and pluged speakers through the sounds card and it wrked fine. The mother board doesnt seem to be sending a signal to the vidio cards. The only thing i havt tried is an agp card. Stumped as i know the monitors and cards wrked because i have swapped them in differend machines. If n e one has had this problem and knows how to Fix it .. Please tell me cause i dont know what the hell i am doing n e more... i will proberbly end up breaking something soon.

Thanks will look 4wrd to ur help..

Remove CD-Rom and Speaker or all unnecessaries.

In such a case, once take it into pieces again and construct it elaborately up to possible minimum in order to boot.

Any fans are working. There is no light anywhere?

(Oo;?(XP loading? How did you install? Can you boot from Win98 bootdisk also?)

It sounds like somewhat unreal. Have you tried different cables. Also check the pin and both connectors conditions, they might be broken when you...

Send a message via Yahoo to RandomRanter
From my own experience (works pc) of the monitor showing that theres no signal ... was that previously it had used a CRT (fat backed) screen and we replaced it with a TFT (flat) screen. On the display properties it was reading as a "TV Monitor" ... I fixed this by installing the screens display drivers, changing it to plug and play monitor and it seemed to work fine for me.

Unfortunately I had to bootup in safe mode (Tap on F5 at startup) to get to the display drivers, once the drivers were fully installed and I had made the necessary changes... everything went fine after I rebooted

Hope that helps... it solved my problem
