oem
when buying a hard drive over the net and it says OEM... what does that mean.... cuz i bought a HD and it was OEM, and the motherboard i got had some cables for HD in with it, but the cable does not work with the hard drive any help??

the Hard Drive Cables should be standard IDE cables...unless one is SCSI? |

If the hdd is SATA, you will need SATA cable for it. You also need a mobo that supports SATA (many new boards do).
