I have two problems..
the first on is on my first pc, it is AMD with DUron prrocessing, um, it uses a phoenix bios chip, 128MB RAM...at first there was a software problem. The pc would boot up and then load windows, well attempt to load windows anyways, but then switches to the menu and prompts to load in either safe mode etc. When trying to load in safe mode, it restarts...when it tries to load the Mup.sys driver. psh heck recovery console was my next option. when trieing again now... there pc decided to die on me.. well technically, i get long continuous beeps...best bet it is a RAM failure... my second problem is my second pc...I am figureing that the problem is matbe with my video card, unfortuantely it is build in and i cant seem to find a plug and play one...the computer starts and then there is nothign on the monitor...the board is powered up, i know that and i doubt it could be RAM failure cause I changed the RAM unless it is the port which is bad....could it be the processor? anyways... i need another diagnonsis for these pc's of mine... my third pc, well sad to say it is the one i really don't like but it is the one which throguh thick and thin works...gives me probs but heck it works.. i need advice or comments other opionions ![]() |

Phoenix bios beep codes are in groups, ie 1-3-3 or similar. Find what the groups are, that should tell you where the problem is, or at least give you a start.
Second problem sounds like it could be onboard video or other mobo failure, but you'll want to check everything. Troubleshooting checklist here
