Playing video files

Hi all
I have a strange problem playing video files on my computer. Earlier(like couple of months back), I was able to play video files completly on my computer. Now when i try to play them, I will be able to see the video for only few seconds and then the video stops playing, but the audio continues.

I tried playing those files on a different computer and they work fine. I have realplayer, winamp, divx player and windows media player on my computer.

what could be causing the problems?
