PLEASE READ if you need additional help

DevHardware Forums, which is on the same Developer network as this forum is, will have much more information, including much more knowledgable people, concerning computer hardware. I would recommend posting there if you have not found adequate help for hardware here, and even if you have been helped, I would get a second opinion from over there.
Happy Posting

I'm not saying the people over here are stupid or anything, by any means - don't get me wrong.

I'm just throwing this out so if anyone has hardware issues and doesn't know about DevHardware, they do now. Please don't take it offensively or anything - I'm only trying to help. I didn't know this forum existed (while I was registered to DevHardware) until someone recommended I try this forum as an alternative to the sparsely-populated DevHardware "Programming" forum.

I agree that devhardware is a good site (registered there as well), and if you don't get an answer here, they might be able to help. However, I don't think I'd go so far as getting a second opinon on everything. If your problem is fixed, its fixed. No sense bothering others.

(^^;(I got it mostly, there's another DevSite, not Forum of this site)

But I think there are great deal of sites available on the web beside this site. Several or many of them must be great. I myself often sreach between them for particular problem. But mostly done in vain. prehaps due to its particularness

But, I don't think that the point is there. Concerning to knowledge, Karsh has enough knowledge at least for all beginners.

In addition, I think the point is here. In most cases questioners (especially Help-Me people) can't estimate various answers correctly. Most of them stick to one easy opinion, and likely to damage the whole thing. Because they are searching after God's Hand (The Man of Greater knowledge who can solve the problem at one click). But above all in such a case the matter is oftenly serious and necessitates more complex procedures. The result is self-explanatory.

A cetain forum may include many experts, but in most case, their opinions have to vary, because questioners can't think by himself and represent incongrous information about his PC. Hence experts knowledge in vain. Or even harmful.

Moreover, limiting the story to Hardware, correct knowledge is not in forum, but in Maker's site or datasheets or so. In truly critical case, we had better advise him to consult the vendor or manufacturer instead of dabbling about the situation by the aid of deep knowledge.
