Problems??

Here is a list of the parts i am going to get/use to build my computer:

Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe nforce2 ultra 400 chipset mobo
AMD Athlon XP 3200+ cpu
Hitachi 160GB sata Hard Drive
ASUS ATI Radeon 9600XT 128MB DDR 128 bit DVI/TV out 8x
AGP model "9600XT/TD" Video card
Kingston 184 pin 512MB DDR PC 3200 & simpletech 184 pin
256MB DDR PC 3200 MEMory
Can anyone see any problems with this set up?? How many fans should i have in my case?? thanx

The number of fans isn't the right question. If you have a well designed case, I don't see the need for more than two fans. The front fan blowing in and the rear fan blowing out. That gives you a nice flow through the case that removes the heat generated. Using zippy cable ties to keep your wires and cables neat will help air circulate through. If your CPU fan has no where to exhaust the hot air, it won't matter how many fans you have.

actually i don't have a case picked out yet.... if you have any ideas or suggestions that would be great

I have an Antec case that I bought cause Newegg.com had it on sale. It's a fine case and keeps things cool. It's louder than I'd prefer but that's another thread....

I do like my thermal sensing CPU fan. I'd recommend you get one if you go with a higher capacity CPU fan.
