Question about Dual Channel DDR
Hey guys
If my board only has 2 slots for DDR RAM, can I add a second stick of 512MB DDR, or do I need Dual Channel to run 2 sticks of the same size RAM?

OK, so then how is Dual Channel any better, if I can add another stick of RAM, what does Dual Channel do which this dosen't?

im guessing ur mobo wont have dual channel because it only has 2 slots of ram, but i may be wrong.

dual channel ram is faster than single channel

as far as know,for dual channel,u need a dual channel mobo that uses exact ddr ram specified,it has 4 ddr dimm slots,for dual it needs a pair for it to run... jugular5
