Radeon 9200 Crashing in Windows
Hey guys,
My Radeon 9200 is droping out of display at random times, ussually in games, but more specifcally, non-3d screens. Like just as a map was about to be loaded on Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising, or in the Windows XP desktop, If I just leave the card on a blank desktop, it still sometimes drops out! Whats up with that? Im aware that it is a SE card, but is it still normal? I just need to keep this alaive until I can muster 500 odd bucks to get a 9800XT! Required Specifcations: Sapphire Radeon 9200 Stupid....Ah I mean Second Edition, 64M-DDR, AGP-8X, Running ATI Catalyst 4.6 Windows XP Professional, DirectX-9.0c, Service Pack 1a Thanks in advance!

Check that its seated firmly and the power connection is secure. Try the same card in a different box to isolate that it is indeed the problem.
(Also, check out the nVidia 6800 for similar money to the 9800xt. Gives significanly better performance)
