have an IBM thinkpad 600e notebook. i run connectix virtual game station and tony hawk 2 on it. tony hawk 2 runs ok but its pretty blurry at times, but connectix is horrible. for those of you who dont know what it is, connectix is an emulator that allows you to play playstation1 games on pc with the use of a game disc. anyways, connectix runs choppy and im wondering if an increase in ram will help the software rendering and give it more jam to run the game.
my notebook specs are: pentium II @ 400Mhz 10Gb hard drive 64 Mb of SDRAM 24x CD-ROM 2.5 Mb NeoMagic 256 AV video card. (doesnt support direct 3d) |

definitely, if you only have 64megs of ram you will be amazed at the difference if you add more, i cant imagine running less then 256. i remember running 16k, but as for your game this could also be a video card issue not that it is a issue with the ps emulator, but ram would be my first place to start upgrading. as for the ps1 emulator it isn't very demanding on the video card.
