Serious problem with my hd

I have a p3 system with dual boot
win98 winxp.(20g)
Lately i have purchased a new harddrive
80g for backup.The drive works well under winxp but win98 does not see it at all infact it does not even display it in my computer.What shall i do i have only the drive no additional software came with it.
The drive is fat32 format.

Just guessing but I bet you formatted the drive with WinXP. If you format the drive with Win98, WinXP should see it.

If that's not the case you're probably facing a partition size limitation. Try splitting the drive into two partitions and see if that helps.
