Should I return this Hard Drive?
Those of you who have read some of my previous discussion threads are aware of my stuggle with getting my Vista operating system up and running. The problem seemed to be a defective hard drive. I replaced the hard drive and I was able to install Vista.
Now I want to give this hard drive a second chance. I installed the hard drive and I rebooted. The operating system automatically noticed I have a second drive and installed the driver:
But when I went to the "Computer" display, a new drive was not automatically seen.
So I went to my Computer Management settings and I noticed that the drive is unreadable..
When I right click on this area, there are no options to format this drive

Do you think I should return this drive? Is it dead? Can you think of any trick I can do?
