Angry Strange problem with keyboard !!!

Hi,

I am experiencing strange problem in my laptop keyboard since two days.

Well some of the keys like i, j, k, l, m, o, p are typing other characters like 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 while i type it, but when i press the function key and type tht letter it types properly.

Also its just happens when i am in my windows, bcoz when i enter the username and password for my NT-login screen it types well.

Could yu tell me wht the matter could be.

thanks

Check to make sure your NumLock isn't on. Also check your bios to see if it has NumLock set to on when you boot up.

On my laptop it actually shows the small numbers in blue for im guessing numlock:

J =1
K = 2
L = 3
U = 4
I = 5
O = 6
7 = 7
8 = 8
9 = 9
M = 0
