stupid cd-rom
alright. i have an asus quietrack 52x cd-rom drive. alright this just started happening like 2 days ago. sometimes my cd-rom works but then maybe like 10 minutes after booting up it doesnt read it anymore. any help would be appreciated

When you mean "it doesn't read it anymore", do you mean that the CD icon disappears in the My Computer window? Check your power supply and see if it is providing enough juice for all your devices. A bigger wattage might be needed.

yeah.it doesnt show up in my computer.and the led on the drive just keeps flashing. i changed ide cables and it hasnt messed up yet.
