two OS/two harddrives /same system
I have XP Pro on my current computer but I want to put another harddrive in it. The harddrive already has 98se on it and I want to keep it on it. Is it possible to keep both 98se and XP Pro on two differnt harddrives on the same computer. I have serveral programs that use 98se and not XP Pro. how would you rename the harddrives so that they would not conflict with each other, would this cause too many problems? Please explain if possibe in great details. I have a good understanding about computers. Thanks, Farris

By far the easiest way will be to back everything up, then format and install win98 on one disk, then install windows xp on the other. XP will automatically detect the other os and set up the boot menu for you.
