Unable To Access Total Hard Drive
Have 4gb hard drive. Drive C can only access 2gb. Can I format remaining 2gb as Drive E? If so, how do I do it? Am 73 year young novice. Help!

What OS are you using, and what file system? I"m guessing this is a pretty old computer? Using windows 95 probably? I would guess you have a fat16 partition, which under windows 95 can only be up to 2 gb. You could solve this by upgrading to the fat32 file system if possible, or using fdisk to make a new partition of the remaining 2 gb. BIOS problems could also cause this, so set the bios to automatically adjust if possible.

Personally, I find partitioning hard drives to be one of the most frustrating tasks involved with computers. I've used multipartitions in the past but now I much prefer the simplicity of one big patition. Whatever you decide, find yourself a good tutorial on how to use fdisk properly.
