    USB PCI Mini Help !

    Hello,

I have ordered a USB PCI card which has come with what i assume is a mini PCI plug, so it is shorter than the white PCI slot in the computer, will the mini PCI Card work fine in a full sized PCI slot?

    Many Thanks for your time.

Can you post the link to where you got it from with the specs of the card?

It sounds like a PCIe card, if so you need a mb that has appropriate PCIe slot(s).

So can I clarify that this card would not work in a standard pci slot?

Doug would be correct. The picture in your link is a PCI card. However, your description of what you received is that of a PCI-Express card; which is not compatible with a PCI slot.
