Connection head is wrong for motherboard any suggestions what I should do.

a little more info would be helpful, and if it is a connector, have you tried radio shack they have a adapter to make most anything work. they surprize me with what all can be adapted to other things.

Its a connector, the same kind as a IDE but smaller. It can't be pushed onto the pins because one of the holes is blocked.

it could be a couple different things, like a add on usb bracket or a floppy drive ribbon cable, what does it hook to?
