What do you guys reccomand that is both good for multimediA and gaming?

Personally, I'm running a GeForce FX 5200, and that buys me the highest res. in every game I've played.

But what games are those? I have a Radeon9800 pro, which I would recommend. Still won't quite to FarCry (or probably Doom 3 and HL2) at the very highest resolutions, but its still more than adequate. The 9700 pro is also good, for a bit less $$$.
Obviously, the newest and most expensive cards are the best, but the 9800pro is just over $200 now on newegg, and it works great. For any semi-serious gaming, thats what I would recommend.
