HOw does that have to do with anything?? <--(^^;? (I can't make out the meaning.)

Probably because your chip has multiple functions, and such a board is oftenly difficult to handle even for experts. Have you read the readme?

P.S.

Don't forget, we are completely relying on your information only. We can't know the condition of the board directly. If the board is the used one or bulk, it must be taken into consideration. Then the history of the board is of much importance.

No, it isn't. I meant a readme.txt of the drivers which, I posted in #15, is for the multiple chip, I believe. Have you installed this?

But, not repelled?

Did you recognized the board number on that page? Have you read readme?

If so, it may be yours. In any ways, it's not an easy job, try again from device manager. Try again in Safe mode.

Then if it fails, disable IRQ sharing in bios and retry.

I just realized somehting, that thingur telling me to get, its not for XP. The one im suppose tog et, its there, but eh one problem is, it says its for the VIA VT8237, i have the VT8235

and whenever i try to install it, it tells me that i dont have the right hardware in my system. And theres no older versions of the update that works. its all for the 237

I meant the readme "driver installation guide"

#15 driver: It is written for any VIA chipcet and for WinME, Win2K, WinXP, Win Server 2003

I tried everything <---(~~;( How and Which? Can you estimate correctly?)

driver for the VIA VT8237 <---(~~; (Where? But it's natural.)

P.S. If you are negative to tell any nessary information, probably we are wasting time. You should have represent anything you know about the board and what you have done or noticed on it in detail. If you won't make effort in doing this. I'm not going to make any more comments.

And you ignored si110's comment, I don't like such attitude. You should have answer it faithfully.

Ok, then. For si100, no, i didnt ge the CD for my mobo. I just got it replaced. And i prolly could but the compusmart im with takes every peice of time so i can pay them more. Thats why im using this forum. So i dont have to pay anymroe.

The driver installation guide. YEs i ddi read it, and i did follow it. And as for "iv tried everything" i mean, iv literally tried every driver on that site. and non of em worked, and i tried them in safe mode, and i disabled IRQ Sharing in bios, and tried. Nothing worked. As for me knowing stuff about my mobo. Iv told u everything i know about it. Its a VIA VT8235 i got it new, never used.
