What should I go for?

Hey I have a compaq presario running winxp.

My processor is celeron 2.6ghz and I have 80gb capacity

I want to increase my hd capacity. i was thinking of buying a 100gb one but im a little confused as to what type i should get. Is there space on the motherboard for another hd? What happens if put it in, will my c drive automically be bigger?

I'm not to great on hardware as you can tell, so any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, fire

Are you replacing the current drive, or adding the new one as well? You probably have "space", you need to look that you have an open power connector and an open ide connection (google for info on these). If you are adding the new drive, you will just have to plug it in, then go into windows and format it. It will show up as a new drive letter.
