Windows ME USB help
this all started when we got broadband, first our drivers were not installed (we use usb since we have no ethernet card, i know i know) well then we had a system crash and had to reformat on march 19th and everything was working fine...until the 23rd when i was playing a game and got kicked off and now my computer can't find my cable, thought it was just the broadband until i went to plug my digi cam in and now its "camera not found" how does one check to see if your usb ports are working, i went to properties, device man, and there are no yellow or red marks near the adapters (that was one of our problems before that we had to call and get fixed) can anyone help me? i did a system restore to 3 different dates and it did not fix the problem. Thanks!
p.s how does one reinstall the drivers, when we first got the broadband it would not work in the usb at first and some tech guy came out and went in our files and did something that fixed them in like 5minutes so i assume that was it?
p.s.s i checked the usb in the device manager and it says everything is working properly, i went out and bought a cf reader for my cam thinking maybe it wasn't the usb ports but the cf reader is also not working when plugged in.
