Hardware Compatibility Comfirmation
I'm looking to do a major upgrade of my PC, and have looked on www.pcnineoneone.com for my best deals. I'm pretty sure what I've got in mind is compatible with each other, but I figured I'd let someone else take a look at it and make sure, befor eI spen the $500+ on the components:
Motherboard
-A7N8X AMD Athlon/Duron/XP, Socket A, ATX, 3GB DDR-SDRAM, 333MHz FSB
(Pricegrabber.com URL: http://pcnineoneone.pricegrabber.com...2399479db52283)
Processor
-Athlon XP 2600+ (2.13GHz, 256KB, 333MHz, Socket A)
(Pricegrabber.com URL: http://pcnineoneone.pricegrabber.com...2399479db52283)
RAM
Corsair 1GB PC2700 DDR333 DIMM
(Pricegrabber.com URL: http://pcnineoneone.pricegrabber.com...2399479db52283)
Also, as this is my first go at actually putting a Processor on a motherboard, is it a good idea to buy seprate and if so, what kind of equipment is required to put one on?
All help and alternatives are welcome and greatly appreciated.

All that stuff should work fine together. Since you're getting the retail version of the processor, you shouldn't need anything but a screwdriver...
