    USB vid card\splitter?

Hey everyone. I have a latptop with a vga port on it, thus giving me 2 display, but I'm finding for some things work related 2 displays is limiting and would really like a 3rd display.

I know I've seen usb graphics adapters before but I'm really behind on my hardware and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations.

    PS, the cheaper the better.

Your video hardware is mostly likely going to be your bottleneck.

I highly recommend Maxtor products. I got one of their cards in '99, and it ran everything up to Flight Simulator 2002 on it, all settings maxed. They definitely know their video.

Here's one of their external controllers that can add two monitors: DualHead2Go Have a look around their site for more options.

Thanks, I think this is what I need. Performance isn't an issue, its not for games.

I think TheJim has suggested you for the right thing.
You should go with Maxtor products.
