ACPI\AWY0001 unknown device
I all, I have this system, a HP Pavilion a1600n http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/p...roduct=3245022,I just installed Windows 7 64 and it works well... BUT, when I go to device manager, I have this flagged as unknown;
ACPI\AWY0001
My Windows is up to date and it detected everything except this. I don't know what it is or what it does, I just want to be sure it does not penalize my system performance/stability if it's not installed. Of course, I would prefer to get it installed correctly.
So, my system is a HP Pavilion a1600n as mentionned above, it has a NODUSM3 motherboard from ASUS (BIOS v3.07).
If someone can tell me what this device do and help me finding drivers, I can't find them at all.
Thanks a lot !!

Go to the Device Drivers, find the Away Mode driver and then look for it on your Giga-Byte Mainboard Driver Disk. It is usually under drivers, AMD.
