    Problems since adding different GFX

    just inserted a Radeon HD 4870 toxic GFX to my pc,

    i had to take out my old TV card tho,

    now when i turn the pc on its not booting windows....

    saying it cannot get something.

    i tryed creating another boot disc of windows but nothing... wont work.. wether my boot img is wrong i dunno, please help

    I don't think the GPU is causing this problem, but just to be sure, you can try the old one and see if it fixes it.

    Make sure your hard-drive cables are still properly seated on both the motherboard and hard-drive. Sometimes SATA cables tend to break (without any visible damage).

    After you have confirmed this, try booting the computer in safe mode. You can do this by pressing F8 before Windows starts loading. Restore original Windows files by typing "sfc /scannow" (without qoutes) in the command line.

    If it doesn't boot, try inserting your Windows installation disk and select "Repair my computer". This will most likely fix any boot problems.

    What is the actual error message... I doubt it literally says it can't get "something"
