Cooling problem P4 2.667 GHz.

Hi
I have this over mentioned cpu.Nowadays computer shut down offen.Yesterday after working about 8 hours ,computer shut downed and i did not restart there was not any picture to my screen.I was not graffic cards problem.
I took away cpu cooler.It was quite hot.I put it and it is restarted.

Does new cooler solve my problem or do i need to install another cooler(fun).

Today morning i had the same problem i took away and reinstalled but it did not started.I have this computer for 2 years
