CPU Fan Connection Kaput
The fan is ok It's the connection on the motherboard. The other fan points are working so I tried to use one of those but the comp switches off almost immediately with a 'CPU Fan Not Working' message. Is there any way I can get into Bios to look for a 'check CPU fan' setting to switch off. Thanks for any advice.

Are you asking how to get into the BIOS, or are you asking if there is such a setting in your BIOS? Pressing Delete or F2 during startup are common ways to get into BIOS. As far as settings, what brand BIOS do you have?
