CPU Fan Not Spinning
I have no idea what to do. My CPU fan doesn't spin, and shows no signs of life. I tried unplugging the heatsink and pluggin it back in to see if it detected it... it didn't. Does anyone have any ideas they could share with me, or know how I can get it working, because my CPU is always at like 65C.
thanks. |

Sounds like the fan is dead. Try a new one.

I have a simmalar problem, as well. I would take the fan off, but I am not sure how..I just took my PC apart this morning (June 5th), and tried to jiggle with the fan to see it it would come off the CPU, but it didn't. And now, it will not turn. It was working before I took it apart..Help?

The heatsink/fan are attached w/ screws, undo those and you should be able to gently remove the whole thing.
