CPU overheating?
Hiya
My computer is spontaneosuly freezing and sometimes fails to load at all. I saw that my CPU core temp was flikering between 40-46 degrees celsius. I wondered if this could be responsible? I'm not overclocking, I have another PC using the same CPU and fan and it's running at 35*c. the only difference is that the 'hotter' one has a higher wattage PSU, i wondred if this was inducing a higher voltage and causing it to overheat? your thoughts please before i invest in some new cooling equipment! Thanks |

I've replied to your other thread in the Computer hardware forum. Please don't cross post in multiple forums.
