I need some suggestions on Products to help with cooling
I have a Intel Pentium D 805, and it keep hitting 69-70c with load
around 40-50 without load and I guess I need a better cpu fan any ideas? some additonal info; this is the fan I have at the moment, Ultra Socket 775 P4 3.8Ghz Copper Core CPU Fan I've reinstalled it to make sure the grease was applied well, and the temp hasn't really changed when its under load still hitting 70c |

I have that cpu in one of my rigs and it does generate a lot of heat even at stock.
I have mine OC'ed to 3.2 and it sits at 52º on full load using an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 pro with AS5 thermal paste. The Freezer 7 pro is about the best cooling heatsink for the price...pretty cheap at less than 20 bucks. |

whats up Ice
![]() anything by Thermalright, Scythe, most by Zalman ( but $$$) will kick butt but if you are looking just to get the temps down and arent going to overclock much like the thinker said the Freezer Pro 7 cant be beaten for the price/performance |
