    Laptop system fan

I have an old ProStar 2893 laptop. The system cooling fan does not spin up. I let it go up to about 55 c and checked the voltage to the fan, nothing.

The inherent problems with laptops is servicing them! Like my thinkpad which will cost more to fix* than it is worth ...

    * Fix does not imply: make functional. Fix implies: we'll look at it for $60/hr and let you know.
