    LGA775 Idle @ 60C Suggestion of Cooling

    Hello all,
I am new to this cooling business since i got my new PC
I am currently using a LGA775 3.4ghz at normal rates.
It's idleing at aroudn 57-61 Celcius and everytime i run games (World of Warcraft, or any other medium-high load apps) my fan would go crazy (4500RPM) and my CPU would jump to aroudn 70s degrees. now i am afraid that it will get fried or something. So i want some suggestion on cooling for my CPU.
I am planning on getting Thermaltake "Big Typhoon" CL-P0114, so will that be enough or should i get some other one?

    Heres my PC spec:
    LGA775 3.4ghz
    1gb DDR2 533
    ATI X700 PRO 256mb (PCI-E)
200gb HD ( got a fan for that)
    Asus P5AD2 Premium Mother Board
and I got this tiny fan on my case that helps 1-2C

    thanks in advance!

Go with what is called a piped heat sink. I've found them to work way better than any heat sinks that i've ever had

And use a quality thermal compound like Artic Silver 5... read the instructions carefully, don't put too much on the heatsink.
Asker of questions and all-around annoying guy.
