Nvidia Geforce2 GTS / Pro Fan not running
I have an older computer video card. The computer recently stopped working (I think the power supply). I swapped the parts into another box I had running and noticed that the fan on the GPU isn't running. The power cord is seated properly and I am sure the box is getting enough juice as the computer is running well, low graphics games run smoothly, etc.
I knew for a while that the fan might be imploding as it was making loud sounds/running weakly in the other (now dead) box.
My question is, should I be worried about the heat of the GPU? Is it worth going and getting a 'look alike' video card so that I don't have to worry about it? Should I just leave it like it is and deal with it if/when it goes?
This is defiantly not my area of expertise!
Thanks!
