Q-Fan
Hi, i am running a ASUS A7V8X-X mobo and i have read on a website that Q-Fan will work with this model and all i have to do is download Q-Fan which when i install, it will automatically update my BIOS. Could anyone give me a working link to where i can download Q-Fan from

Try flashing your BIOS to begin with. I'm not sure, maybe the Q-FAN is part of the BIOS update as it's not listed on ASUS' website itself.

Q-fan is incorporated into the particular Asus motherboard bios. It isnt a seperate application that you can download.
First (like aitken has already said) make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest bios for your motherboard. Next go into your bios setup utility (most likely it will be accessed by holding 'del' key on bootup). Navigate to 'Power' and go into 'Hardware monitor'. You will then see 'Q-Fan control' at the bottom. Make sure this is set to 'enabled'....and that should be it. |
