    PCChips T12 Tidalwave motherboard
    1gig of ram
    ATA 9800 pro 128
E-mu 0404 sound card (used for guitiar input only, i use motherboard sound outputs for all other apps.)
    Antec super lanboy w/ 2 120mm fans
(Removable mod) "filtered house fan placed in A/C duct, funeled into (about 90mm) plastic tubing, ran into hole in sidepanel, aiming at my processor.

    HERE IS THE PROBLEM:
using the program "Speedfan 4.24" my temps are: 24C, 25C, 68C
    my cpu is 68C?
From the little i know, thats not good
im guessing its my stock heatsink and fan

any suggestions about what else it could be OR what is the best heatsink i can replace it with would be and enormous help

Make sure you have enough thermal compound on the bottom of the heatsink. Is the heatsink big enough for that processor? make sure the heatsink is all the may down to the processor and when i say that I mean its not hanging on something like what it clips into to stay down. I've had that happen a few times. If all else fails you should use a piped heatsink.. The piped heatsinks have worked very well for me.. Brings them to at least 10+ degrease cooler than they run.
