    Heavy heatsinks... is it dangerous?

Ok well I need a heatsink and fan for my CPU and a lot of the best one I see are above AMD's 300g limit and they all tell us that they are not responsible for damages done while moving the computer.

I move my computer pretty often back and forth to the living room to watch movies and TV shows. Should I be worried about this weight limit or is it just greatly exagerrated by AMD?

I'd also appreciate experiences from people who own those heavy fans like the Thermaltake Volcano 12 Extreme.
    My b0x:

Good question. These guys are more likely to have an answer for you.

No offense to the software-oriented gurus here, but the overclockers hang out on the hardware side.

AMD 2800+ .... right now it's on stock fan but I need and want a really good fan because I had to take my OC down a little or else it would get too hot since it's the summer now. But all the ones I find are much heavier.

If it says its for an amd say socket A then no matter what, it should work fine. As long as its for the right processor and the right socket then you should not have to worry about any thing else.

Well the thing I'm worried about is my socket ripping off my motherboard... LoL... I'm sure they don't make up specs for just no reason at all.
